Our 80 m2 apartment on the 7th floor offers a bright open-plan layout for up to 3 guests.

• Bedroom: double bed, built-in wardrobes, a desk and two skylights

• Loft: single bed on a mezzanine above the kitchen, reached by a steep wooden staircase, suited to one adult or an older child

• Living room: large corner sofa, coffee table and wall-to-wall bookshelves

• Dining area: wooden table seating 4

• Kitchen: gas hob, oven, fridge, dishwasher, kettle and toaster

• Bathroom: walk-in shower and washing machine

• Terrace: dining table for 6, a hanging swing seat and open views over the city to the mountains

The terrace is the highlight here. Folding glass doors open it straight onto the living area, so the space works as one large indoor-outdoor room in warmer months.

Baratashvili Street runs downhill from Freedom Square toward the Mtkvari River, tracing the edge of Old Tbilisi, the city’s medieval core and a site on Georgia’s UNESCO Tentative List. The street carries the name of Nikoloz Baratashvili, the 19th-century Romantic poet, and the Old Town grid around it dates to the rebuilding of the city after 1795.

Within walking distance:

• Freedom Square and metro station, around 5 minutes

• Rezo Gabriadze Marionette Theatre and its leaning clock tower, around 5 minutes

• Café Gabriadze, in the theatre courtyard, around 5 minutes

• Anchiskhati Basilica, the oldest surviving church in Tbilisi, around 5 minutes

• Georgian National Museum on Rustaveli Avenue, around 10 minutes

• Sioni Cathedral, around 10 minutes

• Dedaena Park, across Baratashvili Bridge, around 10 minutes

• Bridge of Peace and Rike Park, with the cable car up to Narikala Fortress, around 12 minutes

• Shardeni Street wine bars and restaurants, around 12 minutes

The lanes nearby mix carpet shops, small galleries and courtyard cafes with 19th-century houses and carved wooden balconies. Evenings get lively around Shardeni and the Gabriadze courtyard, while the streets closer to the river stay residential and calm after dark. Most of the city’s headline sights are close enough that you can leave the car and the metro aside for most of your stay.

The area is central and safe, and it is well patrolled day and night.

Freedom Square metro station is around a 5-minute walk away.

Public transportation in Tbilisi is affordable and convenient. Metro and buses cost just 1 GEL per ride and allow free transfers within an hour. You can pay directly by card. For route details and schedules, we recommend downloading the TTC app. Bus stops are located almost everywhere in the city.

Taxi services like Bolt are also reliable and reasonably priced. However, our top recommendation is to explore the city on foot—you’ll get to experience the cultural charm of Tbilisi up close.

• Before checking out, please dispose of all trash to help us maintain a clean and pleasant space.

• We provide a starter set of toiletries. For anything additional, nearby shops are available.

• If anything is damaged during your stay, please inform us immediately. Charges may apply depending on the situation.

• If you experience any issues or need assistance, contact us. Your feedback is appreciated, and respectful communication and kind reviews are always valued.

• Although we do our best to inform guests in advance, occasional utility outages (water, electricity, or gas) can happen in Tbilisi. These situations are, unfortunately, beyond our control. We kindly ask that you do not reflect this in your review, as it is a common issue in the city and not specific to our apartment.
