The neighbourhood

According to legend, King Vakhtang Gorgasali was hunting in the forests of his kingdom, Kartlis (Eastern Georgia), when his falcon chased a pheasant. The pheasant fell from the falcon's grip into a hot water spring. The King and his servants were surprised to see steam rising abundantly from the spring. In response, the King ordered the construction of a city at this site, naming it "Tbilisi," which translates to "the site of warm springs."

These springs are located in the present-day "Abanotubani" area of Tbilisi. A beautiful new fountain features a sculpture of a falcon and a pheasant, reminding us of the famous legend. This district, located at the northern edge of Tbilisi's Old Town, has been recently renovated and attracts hundreds of visitors daily.

People flock to enjoy the public sulfur bathhouses, the adjacent Tbilisi Botanical Garden, the impressive Leghvtakhevi Gorge, and the stunning 22-meter-high waterfall of the Tsavkisistskali River. Last but not least, there's a charming little bridge adorned with countless "love" padlocks attached to its rails. It’s an experience not to be missed! Enjoy!

Getting around

Public transportation in Tbilisi is affordable and convenient. Metro and buses cost just 1 GEL per ride and allow free transfers within an hour. You can pay directly by card. For route details and schedules, we recommend downloading the TTC app. Bus stops are located almost everywhere in the city.

Taxi services like Bolt are also reliable and reasonably priced. However, our top recommendation is to explore the city on foot—you’ll get to experience the cultural charm of Tbilisi up close.

What you get access to

Guests have full and private access to the entire apartment during their stay. Once your booking is confirmed, we will send a detailed digital guidebook. It includes everything you need to know, from how to enter using the lockbox to tips on using the amenities. The guide is designed to make your stay easy and comfortable.

How we host

I'm available daily from 10:00 to 00:00 and respond promptly through the inbox of the platform where your reservation was made. For quick answers at any time, you can always refer to the digital Guidebook, which covers everything from check-in instructions to using the apartment’s amenities.
