Set along the southern end of Batumi's coastline, Adlia is one of the city's most recently developed neighborhoods. The area grew quickly over the last decade and has a modern, open character, with wide streets, new apartment buildings, and direct access to the Black Sea.

The beach and coastal promenade are about a 5-minute walk from the building, making it easy to start the day at the water's edge. The pebble beach is typical of Batumi; beach shoes are worth bringing for comfortable access to the water.

One of the area's most distinctive spots is the plane spotting point on Giorgi Antsukhelidze Street, about a 7-minute walk south. Planes on final approach pass directly overhead at low altitude, and the site sits on a seaside promenade with open water views. It is one of the highest-rated outdoor attractions in the Batumi area.

For coffee and food, Caffè Barbaro Georgia and SABABA are both a 1-minute walk on Adlia Street, well-regarded by regulars. Mackbear Coffee Co. on Kaczynski Street is a 4-minute walk north, with Black Sea views from inside.

Metrocity Mall on Kaczynski Street, about a 15-minute walk, has a Carrefour supermarket, a food court with international chains, and everyday shopping.

Batumi's main boulevard highlights, including Ardagani Lake's dancing fountain show and the Ali & Nino kinetic statue, are about 15 minutes by Bolt.

Adlia is a safe and well-maintained residential area, regularly patrolled.

The nearest beach is a 5-minute walk from the building.

Batumi is a small, walkable city. Most of the main sights, restaurants and the Boulevard are reachable on foot from the centre. Buses cost 70 tetri per ride and can be paid by card. For routes and schedules, we recommend downloading the Batumi Bus app. Bolt and other taxi apps are available and inexpensive. The airport is close, roughly 10-15 minutes by car, though allow extra time on busy summer days.

Getting to Batumi from Tbilisi: the overnight or daytime train takes around 5 hours and is comfortable and modern. By car the journey is around 4 hours. Buses and minibuses also run regularly.
