The neighbourhood
The studio is on pedestrian Davit Aghmashenebeli Avenue in Chughureti, a central left-bank district known for restored historic façades, restaurants, cafés and active evening streets. This section of the avenue is car-free, making it convenient for walking while still feeling closely connected to central Tbilisi.
Chughureti developed from the historic Neu-Tiflis settlement and later became one of the city's craft and industrial districts. Today, older residential buildings sit alongside restaurants, creative spaces and cultural venues.
Marjanishvili Metro Station is roughly 10-12 minutes away on foot, giving easy access to other parts of Tbilisi. Fabrika, the former Soviet sewing factory now used as a cultural and social complex, is also within walking distance. Dedaena Park and the Mtkvari riverfront provide nearby green space and walking areas.
Aghmashenebeli Avenue itself is one of the main attractions here. Its pedestrian section has restored architecture and many places to eat and drink, and the street becomes noticeably busier in the evening.
Because cafés and bars operate around the apartment, guests should expect some evening street noise. Light sleepers may prefer to bring earplugs.
The central Chughureti area is generally safe, active, and regularly patrolled.
Getting around
Marjanishvili Metro Station is approximately a 10-12 minute walk from the apartment.
Tbilisi is easy to explore using the metro, city buses and taxis. Bolt is widely available, while many central areas can also be reached on foot from Aghmashenebeli Avenue.
Need a ride from Tbilisi International Airport? Wehost can arrange an airport transfer directly to the apartment on request.
