The neighbourhood
The apartment is set on Davit Aghmashenebeli Avenue in Chughureti, one of central Tbilisi’s best-known left-bank districts. The pedestrian section of the avenue is lined with restored historic façades, cafés, restaurants and small bars, while the nearby side streets feel more residential.
Chughureti grew from the 19th-century Neu-Tiflis settlement and later developed into an important craft and industrial part of the city. Today, the neighborhood mixes older architecture with creative spaces, local dining and a busy evening scene.
Marjanishvili Metro Station is around a 10-12 minute walk away and provides easy access to other central districts. Fabrika, a former Soviet sewing factory transformed into a cultural and social hub, is also within walking distance. Dedaena Park and the Mtkvari riverfront offer nearby green space for walking and relaxing.
The pedestrian stretch of Aghmashenebeli becomes more active later in the day, especially around its restaurants and cafés. Although the balcony itself faces a quieter side street, some apartment windows still look toward Aghmashenebeli, so occasional evening noise should be expected.
The central Chughureti area is generally safe, active and regularly patrolled.
Getting around
Marjanishvili Metro Station is approximately a 10-12 minute walk from the apartment and connects directly to Tbilisi's main metro line.
Tbilisi is easy to explore using a combination of metro, city buses and taxis. Bolt is widely used for short trips around the city, while many central areas can also be reached on foot from Aghmashenebeli Avenue.
Need a ride from Tbilisi International Airport? Wehost can arrange an airport transfer directly to the apartment on request.
