The neighbourhood

Alliance Privilege rises at the southern edge of Old Batumi, where the historic Boulevard meets 6 May Park. You are placed between the beach and the lake, with the old town a short walk inland.

The seafront promenade was laid out in 1881 and has been a national monument since 1987. 6 May Park, created the same year, wraps around Nuri Lake directly behind the building and is home to the city’s dolphinarium, a small zoo and pedal-boat rental.

Sea and green space:

Batumi Beach and the Boulevard, 3 min walk (pebble, like every beach in Batumi)

6 May Park and Nuri Lake, 2 min walk

Batumi Dolphinarium, 2 min walk

Boulevard dancing fountains, 16 min walk

Old town and culture:

Europe Square and the Medea statue, 15 min walk

Cathedral of the Mother of God, 18 min walk

Piazza Square, 20 min walk

Argo Cable Car lower station, 25 min walk

Food and drink:

Retro on Takaishvili Street, a local favourite for Adjarian khachapuri, 6 min walk

Bars and restaurants around Piazza Square, with live music on summer evenings, 20 min walk

Cafes and wine bars along Memed Abashidze Avenue, near Europe Square, 15 min walk

Mornings are quiet, with joggers, dog walkers and families circling the lake on its shaded paths. By evening the Boulevard fills with cyclists and people heading out for the sunset over the water.

The area is safe and regularly patrolled, and the promenade stays lively well into the night during peak season.

Getting around

Batumi is a small, walkable city — most of the main sights, restaurants and the Boulevard are reachable on foot from the centre. Buses cost 70 tetri per ride and can be paid by card. For routes and schedules, we recommend downloading the Batumi Bus app. Bolt and other taxi apps are available and inexpensive. The airport is close — roughly 10-15 minutes by car, though allow extra time on busy summer days.

Getting to Batumi from Tbilisi: the overnight or daytime train takes around 5 hours and is comfortable and modern. By car the journey is around 4 hours. Buses and minibuses also run regularly.

What you get access to

Guests have full and private access to the entire apartment during their stay. Once your booking is confirmed, we'll send you a detailed digital guidebook with everything you need to know, from using the lockbox for entry to tips on how to use the amenities.

For step-by-step entry instructions, please tap "Open your Guide" -> "Getting in" at the top of this guide and scroll down. You will find the full arrival process there, explained in order.
